They have have a kind of persistence. People unknown to me in waking life reappear. Events have consequences that can last years.  As my waking life has grown more stable and routine, it is in dreaming that I am confronted with new ideas and challenges. Second-life dreaming \u2014 when I have access to it \u2014 has become my primary life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I think that dreaming is the <a href=\"https:\/\/earlywithdrawal.net\/tolton\/2026\/08\/24\/dreaming-as-a-religion\/\">original religion<\/a>.  It is the window we have been given into whatever is not waking reality. Psychedelic drugs might do the same, but dreaming is our inheritance; it is what we are guaranteed to have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I use this blog to record my adventures because I believe everyone could experience the same, if only they knew it were possible.  Not only can they, but they ought, because the fast and hard lessons learned in the dreaming world have much application in the slower, thicker world of waking reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the time being, this blog is my travelogue, a way for me to remember my experiences and to organise them.
